Larry R. Farsakian, D.D.S.

Highland Park Endodontist, Root Canal Specialist, Dr Larry FarsakianDr. Larry Farsakian, Highland Park Endodontist, is a graduate of California State University, Fresno where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology in 1978. He obtained his dental degree from Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago in 1984. He then completed a one-year dental residency in the General Practice Residency Program at Loyola University Medical Center from 1984-85.

Upon completion of his dental training, he returned to his hometown of Visalia, California to practice general dentistry from 1985-1988.

He then returned to Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago to obtain his Certificate in Endodontics in 1990.

He served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Endodontics at Loyola University School of Dentistry from 1988-93 and as endodontic consultant to the General Practice Residency Program at Loyola Medical Center from 1990-93. He currently holds the position of part-time faculty as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery acting as the Endodontic Consultant to the General Practice Residency Program in the Department of Dentistry at Loyola Medical Center.

He has been lecturing nationally for Dentsply Tulsa Dental Specialties since 1999 on endodontics and rotary instrumentation. He also has presented lectures at the Chicago Midwinter Dental Meeting and for local study groups and dental societies since 1992.

He has been in the private practice of endodontics since 1990 and has been a part of Highland Park Endodontics, Ltd. since 1992.

Dr. Farsakian is past president of the Illinois Association of Endodontists from 2003-2004.

Dr. Farsakian enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He enjoys working around his house, fixing things and especially doing yard work. He is an active and respected member of the Armenian community of Chicago.

Daniel Oh, D.D.S., M.S.

Highland Park Root Canal Specialist - Dr Daniel Oh

Dr. Daniel Oh is a graduate of the great tradition of University of Illinois, obtaining his Certificate in Endodontics from University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) in July 2020 in addition to his Master of Oral Sciences degree.  He earned his dental degree from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2014.

He obtained an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from University of California Irvine in 2005 and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2008.

Dr. Oh worked as a product and test engineer and also a circuit design engineer for Skyworks Solutions Inc. in Irvine, California from 2005-2010.  His duties included hardware and software design of cellphone chips in addition to testing over 20 million chips prior to shipping.  He designed, evaluated, and fabricated power amplifiers of WLAN products.

Following dental school, Dr. Oh served our country as a U.S. Army Captain in the U.S. Army Dental Clinic Command in Fort Polk, Louisiana from 2014-2018 while practicing as a general dentist.  He received The Army Commendation Medal in 2018.

Dr. Oh has participated in dental missions to Osh, Kyrgyzstan and to Amman, Jordan.  In addition, he is fluent in Korean.

He routinely practices with the use of an operating microscope and cone beam technology, and is highly trained in surgical techniques.

Dr. Oh enjoys playing soccer and racquetball. He also enjoys biking with his wife and two sons in his free time.  He looks forward to his involvement with the Korean community of the greater Chicagoland area.
